Ritual

I was thinking today about different kinds of spiritual experiences. Some come from the faith that is built through ritual and practices repeated over many years; others come in a sudden wash of Divine grace. There’s no need to choose one over the other; they are both important in a rich spiritual life. I wrote more about this on my personal blog, where I muse on ideas more than on the pragmatic aspects of wellness. You can read it here if you like.

But if you’re more interested in the pragmatics, why not make regular massage a ritual? You can dedicate your massage to a question; or ask the Divine to be with you during that time. You might be surprised by the results.
