Have Chair, Will Travel

I’ve taken a massage chair to so many events over the years, from employee appreciation days at offices, to industry expos, to street fairs. Last week I had a first, which was a booth that I organized for my own business, rather than working for someone else. There were a few ups and downs, but I met and helped some nice people, I practiced setting up my booth, and I didn’t lose money. Also I now know I need a fan when the weather is hot! (I did have an aromatic mist, cold water, and cool towels for clients.)

The event was the Shiny Market and Fire Jam, a monthly fair at the rock store Shiny Things For Shiny People, at 2120 S. Lamar. There were DJs, impressive jugglers, and fire dancers.

I needed a name for my booth, so I decided to call it the Temple of the Miraculous Body.

I may not make it to the September Shiny Market, but I may well be there later in the year, so I hope to see you there.

What upcoming events do you know of that could use a massage booth?
